Upcoming S-CAP Professional Development Opportunities! 

The Student-Centered Accountability Program (S-CAP), is a collaborative effort by six rural districts in Colorado to create a more comprehensive system of accountability than the state District Performance Framework (DPF) system and to focus on "whole child" accountability through continuous improvement of the system. The program is focused on providing parents and the community accurate, well-rounded information to be used for strategic and continuous improvement.

Meet the Builders Program 

10:00am - 1:00pm: The Meet the Builders event features a panel discussion and Q&A session with engineers and architects from the DDC. Students learn about interior design, functional engineering, artistic choices in projects, and differences in urban planning across the globe. Additionally, the distinguished panel members speak about career paths and future opportunities for students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, architecture and design.

March 22, 2017: 

9:00am to 11:00am: Professionals from Bally (Swiss fashion brand), Cornell University Cooperative Extension, Fendi North America, and Franklin Templeton Fiduciary Trust, as well as long-time NYC Community Organizer, Antoinette Emers, will visit Brooklyn Generation School to work with seniors on interviewing skills and networking skills.

Military Careers Peak Readiness Event

Littleton High School, Littleton, CO - October 5th

GSN and Littleton High School will host a Military Career Day for high school students at Littleton High School and the surrounding high schools to explore a future in the armed services. Students will be excused from normal classes for the day in order to have the opportunity to hear from current and former military personnel on topics such as "Why I Serve," "Academic Requirements for the Military," "Training and Educational Opportunities for Service Men and Women," etc. Students will also have the opportunity to take the military's ASVAB practice test, participate in military mock interviews, explore fitness requirements, and more. We are currently looking for current and former military members to help us make this day great!
