Tina Goar

Senior Education Specialist, CREC

With over 44 years of experience in education, Tina has held positions such as Superintendent, Executive Director of a BOCES, and Principal. She has also served as a Rural Liaison and Advisor for the Colorado Department of Education, directed a K-8 private school, and been an adjunct professor in a teacher education program. Tina holds a B.A. from California State University, an M.A. in Education Administration from California State University, Fresno, and is currently pursuing her doctorate.  An active member of the Colorado Center for Rural Education Advisory Board and a trained facilitator for "Classroom Instruction That Works," Tina enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
