Steve Martinez

Area Manager, Prevention Services

Over the past 10 years, Steve has worked in the field of public health and comes to Generation Schools Network from Presbyterian Health Services- Community Health, where he served as the Northern New Mexico Senior Program Manager. Most recently, Steve worked to address health disparities among perinatal and older adult populations in Northern NM and is highly motivated to bring his expertise to GSN’s Health, Wellness, and Prevention Team. Steve has extensive experience in federal grant management, community coalition building, and youth prevention.  Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and being in the mountains.  As a native born Northern New Mexican, Steve is passionate about family traditions and the culture of the region.
